The Florida Community Resource Map

Connecting communities with the help they need

The Florida Community Resource Map is the flagship project of FCI: an interactive, web-based tool that allows users to locate key resources in their community, including: healthcare, food and nutrition, housing, and education. Social workers are also invited to use this map on behalf of their clients.

Our dedicated team created this application as part of FCI’s initiative to connect Floridians to the resources they need.

See the Press Release below for more information, and feel free to explore the map!

Message to Nonprofits

Greetings, Florida nonprofits!

We are so grateful for the work you do.

We recently launched a project to celebrate you and connect you to beneficiaries (and social workers — we found out in community listening sessions that social workers love this Map!).

It’s the Florida Community Resource Map, a digital access point where people can discover you and find out how to access services. We’ve partnered with community foundations in FL to build this, and we couldn’t have done it without our partners.

Here’s a link to Map: https://floridaresourcemap.org

If you’re in the Philanthropy Hub, Nonprofit Search, or another database we work with, you’ve been added to the Map. Otherwise, you can add yourself to the Map.

If you want to edit your entry to make it more beneficiary-facing, or you want to include a Spanish language version of your entry, please visit https://floridaresourcemap.org, find your entry, and click “Suggest an Edit.” This will take you to a form that we will use for your updates.

If you want to spread the word about this resource (or invite other nonprofits across the state to add themselves!), share the social media graphic linked on https://floridainnovation.org/projects/the-florida-community-resource-map/
