We’ve been very fortunate to be a CityCamp partner and contribute to bringing community-focused events centered around civic tech innovation to Gainesville!
So, what is CityCamp? It’s a community-led UNconference where residents, students, technologists, and civic leaders set the agenda together. Attendees come up with their own session ideas day-of and participants vote on what they want to do and disucss. CityCamp events have been hosted in cities across the world over the years.
Last year, we planned and hosted a successful UNconference, allying with student and volunteer organizations to discuss and take action on a number of pressing technological issues, of which a recap can be found here!
